Just after getting a signal following a brief stop at CP Haydock, NS 213 proceeds through the old equilateral turnout. Once the double tracking project is complete, CP Haydock will be replaced by a pair of intermediate signals, which stand directly behind the photographer, and the old signals and interlocking that have been here for decades will be but a memory.
