The Murder Mystery train heads south over Vermont Rail System's Washington County line, passing the restored Boston & Maine depot at Ely, Vt. Frank Barrett, Jr., the owner of the station, comes out to watch the train passing. He also posed his 1940 Buick Special at the grade crossing for the assembled photographers.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
