To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the National Park Services across the United States, the Grand Canyon Railway ran both of their steam engines, double headed, to Grand Canyon National Park, on Saturday, 27th of August. GCRY 29 (2-8-0) and GCRY 4960 (2-8-2) charge up the grade into the park near Coconino Canyon as the pounding sounds of the side rods echo through the canyon; reminding how beastly these machines are.
