Street car Be 2/2 # 1208, built as Ce 2/2 # 208 in 1913, is the oldest operational vehicle of the Verkehrsbetriebe Zürich (VBZ). Since 1958 the vehicle is the "Märlitram" (myth streetcar), running in pre christmas times on a 20 minutes round trip through Zürich, exclusively for children. The driver is the Santaclaus, and several angels are on board telling fables. The "Märlitram" is just passing Zürich main station building to enter the Bahnhofstrasse.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
