For the first time in years, Great Lakes Central had the privilege to operate run-through power on a unit grain train, this of obvious NS origin. With CSX increasing rates on cars, NS jumped in and won the bid for grain traffic, with this train going to the Mid-Michigan RR in Alma, which would be taken to Breckenridge for the massive MAC elevator in town.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
