My son Wesley, who is three, and the biggest, little railfan, looks on as a CSXT grain train rounds the bend near Greggs Hill. CSXT's "Northern Sub," and Norfolk Southern's, "Columbus Sub." parallel briefly at this location. This is also near the location where the DT&I came off of the C&O and went into Waverly to interchange with the N&W. Those rails are long gone, but the area is still rich in history that I hope to share with this little one.
