Made by "Translohr" (STE4) rubber-tire tram was inaugurated in mid-September the new line from Mestre to Venice-Piazzale Roma, the end point for those arriving by car or by public transport from the mainland to the city on the lagoon. In the picture the terminus of the "Translohr" located a few hundred meters from the train station of Santa Lucia along with the various bus terminals, it has stirred controversy among the "Venetian" because the dark structure in the shape of a box, looks like in a coffin.
