The Palouse River & Coulee City RR's weekly "Grain Train" strikes out across the Union Pacific's Palouse River bridge at Hooper Jct. Using trackage rights along UP's "Washy Line", this is just another leg of the journey for the grain to reach market in Portland and beyond. The two silver locomotives are originally B&O GP-40s, still wearing Amtrak silver from their time there. The GP-35 is ex-PRR.
