A meeting downtown. NS 69W cruises eastbound into downtown Knoxville on Main 1, passing a stopped westbound 131 on Main 2. There was a time back in the Southern Railway days, when this rather small yard near downtown was very busy. Particularly before the end of passenger service. Southern built a nice passenger Depot here, which still stands today. Now-a-days, NS uses this yard simply for storage. The boxes and tanks seen on the left are being stored here.
