Ab 608 was built by NZR Addington (Christchurch) in 1915 and named "Passchendaele" in 1925 as a War Memorial for the fallen railwaymen in that battle of WW1. It is now owned by NZ Railway & Locomotive Society who restored it for the centenary. On loan to Steam Incorporated, this trip to Feilding was the first solo excursion after restoration. The train is seen south of Levin on the home run to the depot at Paekakariki.
