Spectacular parallel run of two steamtrains on the Tharandt ascent with a grade of up to 2.5 % between Tharandt and Klingenberg-Colmnitz, on the occasion of the steamlocomotive meeting 2014 in Dresden. On the right the fastest operational steamlocomotive worldwide, "green frog" 18 201 (4-6-2 Pacific) with 3 cars, in the moment not really making much power and "waiting" for the other train, pulled by heavy working freight train locomotive 52 8079 (2-10-0) with 5 cars. 52 8079 was built in 1943 by Schichau in Elbing as a "war locomotive" and reconstructed in 1963 in the Reichsbahnausbesserungswerk (RAW) Stendal. Both steamlocomotives are running now for Dampf Plus Gmbh.
