Carolina short-line steam. A Lancaster & Chester freight works its way west from Richburg toward Chester one late afternoon in 1945. Although the locomotive and paint scheme are authentic, and the tractor pictured is from about the right period, this is in fact Pennsylvania. In May of 2013, Lerro Productions and the New Hope & Ivyland Railroad combined forces to take the line's Baldwin Consolidation back to her Carolina roots, if only for just a day, for the benefit of about 50 enthusiast rail photographers.
