A new ES44AC is parked just north of Kenwood Yard at the Port of Albany, NY with a Soo Line Colormark covered hopper buffer car and 80 loads of ethanol. Its waiting for its turn in the unloading area after an oil train finishes unloading. The recently opened Albany SuperStorage (in a renovated building) and an old factory provide the industrial back drop along with a threatening April sky as a front drops down from Canada. Trailing unit is CP 8835. CP 8940 has serial number 60694 and is class DRF-44.
This album seeks to portray classic New England and Upstate New York imagery. It showcases the most perfect examples of regional identity, with special attention to structures and landscape.
