An empty hopper train heads south from Maysville to Paris behind four B36-7s (5808, 5807, 5902, 5911), seen here along Strodes Run Pike near Somo, KY. This was my third attempt at shooting the TTI (the previous two were unsuccessful) and I managed to eke out a last minute shot before day's end, cutting it close while capturing this scene at 8:03 PM. There are many fantastic locations and an abundance of beautiful country along the TTI, but it's always hard to tell when they're going to run a train.
