| The Rhaetian Railway's Ge 4/4 II # 626 “Malans” locomotive was given a new livery in cobalt blue and ivory to match the “Alpine Classic Pullman Express” (ACPE) saloon cars, at the suggestion of the Friends of the Salon Cars Association. The ceremonial rollout took place in Landquart on September 17. The locomotive can be seen the following day with its very first train service in the new livery between Castrisch and Ilanz, at the head of the PE 903 GLACIER EXPRESS (St.Moritz-) Chur-Disentis (-Andermatt-Brig-Zermatt). The design of the locomotive was made by graphique artist Michaela Hardmeier in cooperation with the RhB. In the background on the mountain slope is the village of Falera with the St.Remigius church from the 15th century.
