The Adirondack Is Back. A late spring maintenance related suspension of the Amtrak Adirondack caused a summer of bus operation on the upper portion of the line between Saratoga Springs, New York and Montreal, Quebec. On May 27, 2023, Train 69 (northbound) is seen passing by Great South Bay, Whitehall, New York, one of the many places that scenic views can be enjoyed on board again starting on September 9, 2024 (Tomorrow, September 10, 2024 on its southbound counterpart, Train 68).
