Missouri Pacific 4602 is at the headend of a trio of RS-11s running westbound through Kirkwood, Missouri on August 14, 1960. After purchasing something near a legion of GP7's and GP9's the order of 12 Alco RS-11's in 1959 was out of character for the MoPac. The RS-11's were destined to be the odd-men-out, and wound up orphaned among the 567- powered fleet. They won't keep their 251 engines for long.
