Remarks & Notes
Breitlauenen crossing station of the Schynige Platte-Bahn, with train 650 down with He 2/2 # 19 and first part of train 659 uphill entering the station with He 2/2 # 11. Locomotive # 11 carries a green disk with a diagonal white horizontal line, which signals that another train is following within sight. This is crucial for the handling of the crossing, even if the number of compositions for each train is also announced by radio. He 2/2 # 11 was built in 1914 by SLM and BBC for the Schynige Platte-Bahn and is nowadays the only operational original SPB locomotive. All others came from the Wengernalpbahn later.
