CNJ Heavy Cab On The PVL. Filling the spot normally occupied by a cab car, NJTR GP40PH-2 4105 (ex-NJT 4108, née-CNJ 3679, GP40P, 10/1968) is on the east end of NJ Transit Train 1632 as it departs the Pearl River, New York Station for Hoboken, New Jersey on July 17, 2023. This geep, normally in work service, is also a rare sight to catch in service with Multilevel (MLV) cars, and this particular train is normally the only turn that will have MLVs on the Pascack Valley Line. On the other end of the train is a PL42AC, which is providing head end power. The second track on the left is a siding used by the Maintenance Of Way department.
