Phase III In Philly. On June 19, 2022, AMTK 662 (ACS-64, Phase III, 50th Anniversary) led Amtrak Train 19 (Crescent) from New York Penn Station to Washignton D.C. The train is seen passing through Philadelphia, Pennsylvania after stopping at the 30th Street Station. Amtrak's collaboration with Dovetail Games/Train Sim World 2 that resulted in Amtrak ACS-64 662 being "wrapped" in Phase III in December of 2021 was a wonderful, though temporary, addition to the 50th Anniversary program, and the wrap has since been removed. From 1976-1993, Phase III was Amtrak's official paint scheme, and though since displaced continues to find its way to the fleet in non-commemorative applications, including the entire Viewliner II order and the repainting of all 18 of the P32AC-DMs.
