Over a decade ago scenes were different at Kenwood with CP SD40-2's ruling the rails along with much more shrubbery, power lines, old ties, and garbage in every direction. The gravel lot hadn't been cleared for the addition of "Kenwood East/West Running Track" & speed signs also the 1.1A & 1.1B signals with upgraded crossing arms & equipment.
On the afternoon of May 11th, CP 450 ascends out of Kenwood Yard crossing over Church St. with two SD40-2s instead of the usual three as storms moved into the Capital Region.
