Q405 approaches the 58th Street crossing in Philadelphia as the head end clears the bridge over Amtrak's Northeast Corridor. The train is led by an impressive, colorful 6-unit consist of four axles. The only CSX-painted unit is the lead GP40-2. It is followed by a Family Lines GP38-2, Chessie System GP30 and three Conrail units. If I recall correctly, Q405 ran from Eastside Yard in Philadelphia to Hamlet, NC with connecting traffic from Conrail. This symbol may have been created after the closure of Potomac Yard to handle traffic between Conrail and the Southeast.
