The sun has cracked the horizon as a BNSF coal train crosses Logan Hill north of Bill, Wyoming, at 6:16 a.m. on July 11, 2023. This particular train is powered by four BNSF EMD SD70ACe locomotives, with two leading and another pair operating as a rear DPU.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
