US Army Reserves from the 757th Expeditionary Railway Command, Team One, conducted annual training at Fort Eustis. The team planned a scenario of deploying abroad to a war-torn country, revitalizing the local railroad system, and acted out initiating train operations to provide logistical support to devastated regions of the nation. The team performed track repairs, train dispatching, railyard planning, and night operations. During the training mission the team were able to sharpen their skills and improve on unforeseen situations. The Expeditionary Railway Command must train for such a scenario and be proficient in all aspects of railroading.
