Bursting through the five story high cathedral-like windows, a late rising Winter sun casts dramatic shadows on the Tennessee marble floors of Philadelphia's iconic 30th Station. In actuality, it's minutes to Noon and January's sun is far too low on the horizon to breach the many buildings adjacent to the station at sunrise. None-the-less, the Sun is still rising, yet to crest and start the close of another day. The Main Concourse incidentally, measures 290 by 135 feet and has a 95-foot-high coffered ceiling and beautiful Art Deco chandeliers.
