IC GP10 no. 8062 is in the Waterloo, IA roundhouse. The nose logo indicates this unit has yet to be re-lettered to ICG. Waterloo was an important terminal on ICG's line from Chicago to Omaha, and they owned a subsidiary called Waterloo RR. that was headquartered here. ICG also ran a line to Albert Lea, MN from here that at one time was an important connection to the Minneapolis & St. Louis Ry. That importance declined with C&NW acquiring MSTL in 1960. CN now owns this trackage and still reaches Albert Lea, MN as well as Sioux City and Council Bluffs.
