Sunrise Steam. Tennessee Central 509 (4-6-0) is in reality Louisiana & Arkansas Railway 406. This class nicknamed "ten-wheelers" was built in 1913 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works and this engine was brought here in 2002. The origins of caboose TC 9828 are unknown but it came to the display in 1993. The Cookeville Depot is an excellent example of a restored Tennessee Central Railway station.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
