Next Stop Tupper Lake! History was made on September 13th, 2022, when Adirondack Railroad (formerly Adirondack Scenic) ran an inaugural passenger train from Thendara to Tupper Lake and return. Recently-aquired Alco C424 #2400 is seen preparing to lead the train south in a very brief ray of sunlight, the only sun we would see on this stormy day. This run would mark the first passenger run north on the line since the 1980 Olympics.
