Steamlocomotives E 2/2 # 3 "Zephir" (built 1874 by Krauss) of SBB Historic with a covered freight car KRC1 of the Gotthard Bahn (GB) of 1890 in Delémont. As a connecting line between Lakes Thun and Brienz, the "Bödelibahn" began operation in 1872 with two locomotives of type E 2/2 Nos. 1 and 2. As early as 1874, another locomotive, the "Zephir" with the road number 3, was delivered by the Krauss & Cie locomotive factory in Munich. In order to reduce the nuisance caused by the smoke to the passengers of the double-decker cars, extra long chimneys were built onto the locomotives. Locomotive number 2, the "Föhn", was already discarded and demolished in 1895. Number 3, the "Zephir", on the other hand, received a new boiler in the same year. In 1907, the numbering of the "Zephir" was adapted to that of the TSB/BLS. It was assigned the number 72. Until it was sold to Metallwerke Dornach in 1916, the "Zephir" was in service on the Bödeli Railway, which was integrated into the TSB (Lake Thun Railway) from 1900.
