A photo runby opportunity during the 1st FWRHS excursion led by NKP 765 running on the Indiana Northeastern Railroad. This is the 1st of many FWRHS passenger excursions to take place during the next 3 years. Thank you to the management team and owner of the INER for partnering with the FWRHS to run NKP 765 steam excursions.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
The Van Swearingen Brothers standarized freight power for their railroads with nearly identical 2-8-4 Berkshires. Two of these engines are still in excursion service.
