Found in BNSF High Priority Merchandise train H-BARPAS7-18, passing through Kansas City on a long detour as it heads from Barstow CA to Pasco WA, is Trinity Industries Leasing Co. 6351 cubic foot Covered Hopper TILX 637318. When built in December 2005 is was just another plain gray car, but somewhere along the way it sat on a spur long enough for a tagging crew to add a very nicely done portrait of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, along with some indecipherable lettering. All that effort and it is illegible? What was the point, besides vandalism? (Kansas City, Missouri – June 18, 2022)
