During the early morning hours of June 13th, 2022, a portion of Metro-North Railroad's lower New Haven Line suffered a weather-related catenary power loss stranding the last 3 trains of the night at various locations in New York. A "shuttle set", also known on Metro-North as a "mini bomb" (a locomotive & 3 BOMBardier coaches), was sent to collect the passengers from these three trains and make all stops to Stamford, where riders continuing east could transfer back to an electric train. Here we see the train, led by CDOT BL20GHM #125, loading passengers from the first 2 trains at Mount Vernon East Station.
