Conrail ML-433 heads west out of Selkirk Yard, crossing Game Farm Road in New Scotland, NY. Powering the train is an unusual pairing of a Conrail Ballast Express C32-8 and a Burlington Northern cabless B30-7A. ML-433 was a daily multi-level train from Framingham, MA to Sterling, MI. I recall rarely ever seeing Ballast Express units on actual ballast trains. They seemed to be assigned as needed.
