Watco’s Palouse River & Coulee City Railroad’s EMD GP50 No. 5012 still looks its heritage (almost) of Chicago & North Western at this angle of the standard Watco paint scheme. No. 5012 was the former C&NW GP50 No. 5095, its nose gong bell a clue to its background. It’s raining lightly as the PCC train switches at Mockonema, Washington, at the current end of operations on the Hooper Junction to Colfax/Pullman/Moscow line, on September 27, 2021.
