Tacoma's Union Station, with its Federal Courthouse addition, still has rail service of a sort. Sound Transit's Link Light rail passes by on Pacific Ave and makes a stop at the adjacent Washington State History Museum, where you can find a superb model of Union Station in it's glory. Behind the station, where the passenger trains stopped, is now one of the shortest Interstate Freeways (705) and BNSF's Seattle sub is just beyond. Being New Years Eve, not a lot of traffic, but the TACPAS has just finished tripling out of the yard
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
