Canadian National power leads a loaded Molten Sulfur train over the former Atlantic Coast Line bridge, which goes over the Roanoke River and the town of Weldon. It also traversed above the SAL right of way, which crosses below the bridge. Seen on the right is a one-of-a-kind depot, built in conjuction between the ACL and SAL to be able to serve both ground and elevated tracks. Today though; there is no more passenger service here, and the SAL is a thought of the past.
