Amtrak train 490 is seen crossing the Connecticut River on the Warehouse Point Bridge into Enfield. The bridge was built in sections to be shipped to the United States and erected on this site in 1865-1866. The bridge was then rebuilt in 1903.
With double tracking, CT Rail, a new regional service, and restoration of Springfield Union Station, the Connecticut Valley line has become once more an exciting place for train watching.
