Park Train. Webb Rail’s former Northern Pacific Railway Budd built Pullman dome/sleeper 313 (WEBX 801044) and former Northern Pacific Railway Budd built dome/coach 549 (WEBX 801045) held the markers on the Amtrak Empire Builder (Train 8 on the morning of Wednesday, August 4, 2021. The train is passing through Summit, Montana in Glacier National Park. While the Northern Pacific Railway operated these cars on the “North Coast Limited”, redesigned routes would bring them here during Amtrak management. Current proposals are being discussed to return passenger service to the “North Coast Limited” this line as well.
