Back in December of 2020, a historic snowfall dumped 41" of snow on Binghamton, NY. After managing to dig out some power, NS sent a plow train up the D&H.
We set up at Wells Bridge, where a state snow plow truck spent 20 minutes meticulously clearing the crossing, and then stopped the truck on the tracks, right in front of our cameras. I guess he thought that was funny. We motioned to him that a train was coming and he finally moved. About 30 seconds later the plow train hit the crossing - blasting snow all over the freshly cleared road.
