Commuters riding North County Transit District’s commuter trains, popularly known as the Coaster, have perhaps the prettiest commute in America, as their trains, operating between Oceanside and San Diego, skirt the Pacific Ocean for the majority of the trip. Five car Coaster train 644, with Bombardier cab car 2305 leading and F59PHI 3002 shoving on the rear, provides a spectacular view of the small weekday visitors on a late winter’s day – including a few surfers, seen as black dots among the waves from this distance. Based upon the home prices here, the passengers are quite literally enjoying a multi-million dollar view! (Del Mar, California – March 7, 2017)
