Test run from Thun to Gümligen for the new gauge-changing "Golden Pass Express" of the Chemin de fer Montreux Oberland bernois/Montreux-Berner Oberland-Bahn (MOB) with Re 465 # 014 of the BLS on the Aare valley mainline of the SBB between Kiesen and Wichtrach, with the 4158 meter high Jungfrau mountain left from the first car. The locomotive is shoving a push-pull train with leading cab car ABst # 382 and "interface" car Bsi # 293 of the MOB (Montreux-Oberland Bernois), followed by two SBB standard car type IV as brake cars. The first new cars have gauge changing bogies for standard and 1 meter gauge, the design was made by Pininfarina, the car bodies built by StadlerRail and the new bogies by Alstom. Trains with such cars (in total 5 cars between Montreux and Zweisimmen and 6 cars between Zweisimmen and Interlaken Ost) should be circulating from autumn 2022 as "Golden Pass Express" of the MOB (Montreux Oberland Bernois). The "interface car" Bsi # 293 has standard coupling with buffers on the side of the EW IV cars/Re 465, and "Schwab" automatic coupler for the cars/locomotive of the MOB on the other side.
