"Geo Train at the Wassaic Project"
The Metro North/ Department of Transportation Geometry Train cruises past the "Wassaic Project" while heading south down the Harlem Line towards Grand Central Terminal. The Wassaic Project is a non-profit arts community and art education space located within the old Maxon Mills building in Wassaic, New York. The spaces hosts festivals, community events and year-round artist residencies.
The DOTX 221 is an ex- Canadian National Pullman coach painted in Pennsylvania Railroad colors equipped with a track geometry measurement system, a rail profile measuring system, and other state-of-the-art instrumentation for conducting railway research.
