Metrolink commuter train 802 speeds through the Inland Empire on its way from Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo (in upper-middle-class Orange County, where, according to the 2010 US Census, Laguna Niguel had a median household income of $99,771 and Mission Viejo had a median income of $96,088) to downtown San Bernardino (with a median household income of $39,097, and 30.6% of the population living below the federal poverty line). Metrolink F125 904, the lowest-numbered of Metrolink’s F125 fleet – until 903, built in February 2016, is finally delivered – is powering this train. (Highgrove, California – April 30, 2021)
