Art Imitating Life. The White Haven Area Community Library in White Haven, Pennsylvania is housed in a restoration and repurposing of the 1899 Lehigh Valley Railroad Engine House. Bricks in asphalt trace the location of the turntable that once sat in what is now the parking lot. On Saturday, April 17, 2021, a Reading & Northern Railroad (Reading, Blue Mountain & Northern Railroad/RBMN) Maintenance of Way Office Car Special (OCS) sits on the adjoining track with GP39RNs 2534 and 2535 leading the traditional 3 car train on a round trip from Port Clinton, Pennsylvania to Pittston, Pennsylvania. While these cars primarily serve the OCS, they are occasionally offered as the consist on public excursion, and have mostly been seen operating with R&N's F Units in the past year.
