GLC 392 leads ONTN southbound passing the MMRR Yard Office to the west of State St.
After shooting ONTN with GLC 384 leading earlier in the day. I got home and put the equipment away not really expecting to go back out. Once I saw that ONTN and CSTN met in Rosebush, I had to go out and fill my idea. The idea being to set up flashes, and stand ontop of a snow bank. I set 3 flashes along the train, and brought my 4th with me ontop of the hill. Having work in Shepherd and a stop & flag for Iowa St here in Alma, the thought of getting the sunset along with the train faded, and I became satisfied with the pictured shot above.
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
