The Hillburn Hook. NJ TRANSIT 4109 (GP40PH-2, CNJ Heritage) leads Train 79 through Hillburn, NY towards Port Jervis, NY at 7:00 PM on Sunday, June 14, 2020. The truss bridge is one of only a few on the line, the original route of the Erie Railroad. The train has just passed the “JC 32” milepost, which marks the distance from the Erie’s Pavonia Terminal, but presently trains originate from what has been the Lackawanna’s Hoboken Terminal.
