When I got word that NS 24R had just left Macon & was heading up the Atlanta South with the 911 engine running solo, I figured it was a good enough excuse to venture south of Atlanta to get it, especially considering I didn't have any shots of it in the lead on the road. The only question I had to answer was where do I shoot it. Having no clue where they were exactly, I played it safe in not venturing too far south & I found a decently lit spot in Stockbridge. Here, we see the train & it's clean bare-back AOK container cars snaking through some Georgia Pines just south of the downtown area as they head to Atlanta & eventually Rossville, TN.
