All together for the first time! Here's a "family portrait" of all 5 surviving locomotives from Maine's historic, 2-foot, common carrier railroads. Although our event was dubbed the Grand Reunion of the Maine 2-Footers, in truth, this was only a REunion of the 4 former Edaville engines, meaning the two Monson and two B&SR locomotives. This was the very first time that those 4 would be joined by the only other surviving 2-Footer, WW&F #9. Here, you see them arrayed around the Sheepscot Turntable, in the last sun of the day. From the left, Monson RR #4, Bridgton & Saco River #8, WW&F #9, and Bridgton & Saco River #7, sitting on the turntable. The last 3 engines on that list are all in steam. The other two are restorable, and at some point, likely will see a fire again.
