VIA Rail’s “Canadian” sits at the ststion and service stop at Jasper, Alberta, on July 13, 2013. Dome-observation “Banff Park” carries the markers on today’s eastbound train. These "Park" series observation cars (each named after a Canadian park) built by Budd for Canadian Pacific in 1954 featured 3 double bedrooms, a drawing room, plus generous lounge and dome seating.
