It's almost dusk, but the heat hasn't even begun to think about surrendering its grip on south Georgia. Flying a white extra flag, this train out of Albany is headed for Dawson, Cuthbert, and then on to Eufaula, AL. Track is still pretty good, and the lone geep has the train rolling smartly. Won't be long until the line is spun-off, and the NS diesels and crews are replaced by their Georgia Southwestern counterparts.
